Product Details
MYCRO-WR – LS10 is a chlorine-free water lowering admixture based on specific sugar-reduced lignosulphates. It comes in a dark brown solution that dissolves in water right away. It improves the fluidity of the concrete and helps the water content of the mixture work more efficiently by dispersing the fine particles. As a result, advantages like water reduction and enhanced strengths can be realized. This also results in. higher levels of workability for the same water content.
Lignosulfonates are one of the most commonly used water-reducing admixtures in concrete. They are byproducts of the sulfite pulping process in the paper industry and act as plasticizers by improving workability while reducing water content in the mix. They work by reducing the surface tension between water and cement particles, which causes the particles to form a less open structure. This structure requires less water to fill spaces, which increases the strength of the concrete.
Where to use:
➢ Ready-Mix Concrete
➢ Precast Concrete Production
➢ Mass Concrete Structures: Airport Runways, Highways or Roads Applications
➢ Pumped Concrete
➢ Low-Strength & General-Purpose Concrete
➢ Clay Brick & Tile Manufacturing
➢ Cement & Gypsum Board Production
➢ Soil Stabilization & Dust Control
Features of MYCRO WR-CF5 Compounds:
➢ Water Reduction (8-12%)
➢ Dispersion Effect Increase strength
➢ Early Strength Reduction (Slight Delay in Setting Time)
➢ Improves Pumpability & Workability
➢ Air-Entraining Effect
➢ Improve surface finish
➢ Improve adhesion
➢ Prevent cracking
➢ Produce self-consolidating concrete
Method of Application
Trials should always be used to identify the ideal dose of Mycro-WR LS10 to satisfy specific needs. This makes it possible to optimize the amount of admixtures and mix design while also providing a thorough evaluation of the concrete mix. Using a dosage within the standard range of 0.6 to 1.2% of cementations material, such as PFA, GGBFS, and micro silica, is a good place to start for such studies.
Advantages
➢ Allows specified strength grades to be met at reduced cement content or increased workability
➢ Water reduction significantly improves compressive strengths at all ages and enhances durability through the production of low permeability concrete.
➢ Minimizes the risk of segregation and bleeding and assists in the production of a dense, close textured surface, improving durability.
➢ Chloride free, safe for use in prestress and reinforced concrete. Precautions & Limitations
➢ Do not add Mycro-WR CLS10 directly to dry cement & aggregate mix.
➢ Maintain water-cement ratio as low as possible.
➢ Do not increase the dosage of Mycro-WR LS10 than the recommendation.
Sensitivity to Overdose
Excessive use can lead to segregation, excessive air entrainment, or delayed setting.
Shelf Life
➢ Best before 2 years from the date manufacture when in sealed pack and stored under proper condition.
➢ Store in a cool & dry place.
Health & Safety
➢ Use rubber hand gloves & safety goggles, while using M Mycro-WR LS10
➢ In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water.
➢ Keep out of reach of children
