YCRO-WR – NP20 is a Melamine Formaldehyde Sulfonates (MFS) / Naphthalene Sulfonate Condensates (NSC) based water reducer admixture and supplied as a brown liquid instantly dispersible in water. This generally improves cement dispersion. At the start of the mixing process an electrostatic dispersion occurs due t which cement particle's capacity to separate and disperse increases. This mechanism considerably reduces the water demand in flow able concrete.

Cement particles naturally tend to agglomerate due to Van der Waals forces and ionic attractions. NSC adsorbs onto the surface of cement particles and introduces negatively charged (-SO3−) sulfonate groups. This creates electrostatic repulsion, breaking apart cement clusters and ensuring uniform particle distribution.

Where to use:

➢ Ready-Mix Concrete

➢ Precast Concrete Production

➢ Mass Concrete Structures: Airport Runways, Highways or Roads Applications

➢ Pumped Concrete

➢ Low-Strength & General-Purpose Concrete

➢ Clay Brick & Tile Manufacturing

➢ Cement & Gypsum Board Production

➢ Soil Stabilization & Dust Control

Features of MYCRO WR-CF20 Compounds:

➢ Water Reduction (10-18%)

➢ Dispersion Effect Increase strength

➢ Early Strength Reduction (Slight Delay in Setting Time)

➢ Improves Pumpability & Workability

➢ Air-Entraining Effect

➢ Improve surface finish

➢ Improve adhesion

➢ Prevent cracking

➢ Produce self-consolidating concrete

Method of Application

To ascertain the precise dosage of the admixture for the specific mix design and materials, on-site trials must be conducted. To meet certain slump criteria, the dosage may be raised to 1.5% for standard grades of concrete, although a dosage of 0.4% to 1.0% by weight of cement is advised. The right dose for microsilica concrete, where a high level of water reduction and slump retention are needed, must be determined through testing. Depending on the mix design and performance required, the dosage may grow to 2.0% or even 2.5% by weight of cement.

Advantages

➢ Water Reduction: Up to 18% (Superplasticizer Level).

➢ Increases Workability: Enhances flow without excess water.

➢ Strength Improvement: Better hydration = higher compressive strength.

➢ Reduced Permeability: Less water = denser, more durable concrete.

➢ Compatible with Other Admixtures: Works with retarders, accelerators, and air-

entrainers.

Precautions & Limitations

➢ Do not add Mycro-WR NP20 directly to dry cement & aggregate mix.

➢ Maintain water-cement ratio as low as possible.

➢ Do not increase the dosage of Mycro-WR NP20 than the recommendation.

Sensitivity to Overdose

Excessive use can lead to segregation, excessive air entrainment, or delayed setting.

Shelf Life

➢ Best before 1 years from the date manufacture when in sealed pack and stored under

proper condition.

➢ Store in a cool & dry place.

Health & Safety

➢ Use rubber hand gloves & safety goggles, while using M Mycro-WR NP20

➢ In case of contact with skin, wash with plenty of water.

➢ Keep out of reach of children
